traigo un post diferente sobre una de las cosas que más me gustan de la
navidad, los escaparates. Cada navidad las grandes marcas compiten creando los
mejores ambientes navideños inspirados en su esencia de marca. El año
pasado hablé de Tiffany & co y su Winter Carousel y este año le ha tocado
el turno a la Maison Dior.
Hi all! Today I bring you a different post about one of the things I
like about Christmas – the showcases. Every Christmas the major brands compete
in using their brands to create the best Christmas atmosphere. Last year I
mentioned Tiffany & Co and their Winter carousel. This time its MaisonDior’s turn.
Los grandes almacenes Printemps han decidido homenajear a la capital parisina con la ayuda de la Maison Dior a través de sus escaparates navideños. Han creado un ambiente de
Alta Costura donde se combina elegancia absoluta con un ambiente poético. Es
una forma increíble de descubrir el espíritu navideño parisino.
Pintemps’ department stores have decided to honour the Parisian capital
with the help of Maison Dior through its Christmas windows. They have created a
high fashion, Haute Couture atmosphere. It’s an incredible way to describe the
Parisian Christmas spirit.
Los escaparates son como un sueño de navidad, un baile de marionetas, a través del que podemos descubrir
los rincones más emblemáticos de esta romántica ciudad (una de mis favoritas). Hay
11 en total, cuatro animados y el resto son estáticos, pero todos ellos
muestran mágicas escenas reinterpretadas con elementos del mundo Dior (la alta
costura, el perfume…)
The windows are like a Christmas dream, a dance of puppets, through
which we discover the most emblematic spots of this romantic city (which is one
of my favourites). There are 11 in total. Four are animated and the rest static. All of them
show reinterpreted magical scenes with elements of the Dior world (high
fashion, perfume..)
Los cuatro escaparates
animados; “Pista de Patinaje de la Torre Eiffel”, “Tejados y Globos”, “La
Feria” y “El Baile”, muestran 74 muñecos creados especialmente por los ateliers
de la casa de Alta Costura Dior. Representan 12 piezas de Alta Costura que
recrean algunos de los diseños emblemáticos de la casa de moda creada por
Christian Dior, desde el vestido Bar hasta la colección de otoño-invierno 2012
presentada por Raf Simons.
The four animated windows: "Ice Skating of the Eiffel Tower",
"Rooftops and Balloons", "Fair" and "The Dance”, show
74 dolls created particularly for the ateliers of Dior’s high fashion house. They
represent 12 high fashion pieces, which recreate some of the iconic design of
the fashion house created by Christian Dior, from the Bar dress to the
autumn-winter collection of 2012 by Raf Simons.
