Gracias a
The first ones to walk the catwalk were the models of Maria Escoté. It was the first time for me to see their show, and it left me marvelous. I loved all the designs. She presented a collection with a theme centered around dancing. The majority where dresses and skater skirts combined with bustiers and crop tops with rocker and dander prints. However, the most spectacularly for me was the latest designs of bright prom dresses and low-cut. I would have bought the whole collection!
After a short break appeared the models of Smiley on a skateboard inaguring the catwalk of Carlos Díez. Díez presented a much more daring designs than Escoté. Tattoed guys with shirts, hoodies, dresses and the most shocking part of the parade, a model with just a small Smiley underwear. It was a collection unlike anything I had seen before. Even though I'm much more conservative, I found it to be a very successful way to include the essence of the brand in a collection as offending. After many months working with Smiley, I would not have wanted another ending to my relationship with the brand.
We are entering a new season for the blog, and for me the best way to do
that is sharing with you my experience during the MBFW in Madrid. Thanks to Globally, I had the opportunity to attend the catwalks during the third day. I really enjoyed
them all. In particularly the one of Carlos Díez, which touched my heart due to
my experiences working together with Smiley during the last months.
