Hola a todos! Hoy os traigo la inspiración fashion del mes,
el casino o “Círculo privado” de Chanel en el que Karl Lagerfeld presentó su
propuesta para este otoño 2015.

Hey everybody! Today I want to show you this month’s fashion inspiration, the casino or “Circle Privé" by Chanel where Karl Lagerfeld presented his proposal for fall 2015.
Desde el supermercado Chanel del pasado año, Lagerfeld no ha
parado de sorprendernos. Hemos visto desde una manifestación feminista a Cara Delevingne de Sissi Emperatriz, hasta
una brasserie o como esta vez, un casino. Si nos paramos a pensar, la colección
no tiene nada que ver con el juego, ¿Por qué Karl elegiría este escenario? Muy
sencillo, según palabras del maestro “porque le encanta la idea de una mujer
elegante y enjoyada en el casino, así como una fantasía”. Oh! Que bonito sería
que esa fuera la realidad de los casinos.
Centrándonos en la colección, no hay mucho más que decir de
lo que ya se ha dicho en todos los medios. Es una colección maravillosa, una
re-intepretación perfecta de los antiguos modelos de Coco, esta vez en 3D
gracias al uso de la nueva técnica de “sinterización láser” o más comúnmente
prendas sin costuras. Puedo decir sin lugar a dudas que esto es precisamente lo
que más admiro de Karl, su increíble capacidad de adaptarse a los cambios del
futuro sin perder la esencia de la casa de las dos Cs. Bravo!
Por otra parte, también me fascina su gran capacidad para
reunir celebrities en todos sus desfiles. Vestidas (y vestidos) de los pies a
la cabeza con modelos creados específicamente para ell@s y apostando como locos
podemos ver a: Julianne Moore, Rita Ora, Coco Chanel 2.0 o Geraldine Chaplin,
Lara Stone, Lily Collins, Lily-Rose Depp junto a su madre Vanessa Paradis,
Stella Tennant, Alice Dellal y la amada por todos Bella Swan o Kristen Stewart. No
puedo evitar preguntarme, ¿Dónde está Cara Delevingne? ¿Es Kristen el relevo de
Cara? Y la que supongo todos os habéis preguntado ¿Estaban realmente
apostando?, yo diría que si. Como dato que no puedo dejar escapar, todas las
invitadas de honor llevaban las joyas diseñadas por la genuina Coco Chanel el
1937, de los que ya hablamos en un post anterior.
Por último, respecto a las modelos cabe destacar que no hay
ninguna modelo rubia! Y que todas llevan una tez pálida en contraste con unos
pómulos y labios marcados. El broche final del look, el pelo, todas las modelos
llevan una peluca que quiere imitar a un sombrero. No es el look que yo habría
elegido, pero consigue el efecto deseado deja todo el protagonismo a los
maravillosos diseños.

divertido jugar y apostar con las ideas o con las colecciones, pero no con el

last year, with the #Chanelshoppingcentre,
Lagerfeld do not seize to surprise us. We have seen everything from a feminist demonstration, Cara Delevingne as Sissi Emperatriz, to
a French brasserie, and now a Casino.
If we stop and think a bit about it, this collection doesn’t have anything in
common with gambling, so why would Karl choose this stage? According to the
master himself, it quite obvious: “I like the idea of an elegant woman
going to a casino, wearing jewelry—like a fantasy”. How amazing would it be if
that were the truth for all casinos.
If we focus
on the collection, there is not much to add to what has already been discussed
in the media. It is truly a marvelous collection, a perfect reinterpretation of
the old Coco models. A nice twist this time is the 3D effect, thanks to the new
"Selective Laser Sintering" technic or more commonly seamless garments.
This is without doubt what I most admire of him, his incredible capacity to
adapt to the changes and trends without ever loosing the essence of the house
of the two Cs. Well done Karl!
On the other hand, what fascinates me it is his great capacity to gather celebrities in every single one of his fashion shows. Spectating the catwalk, gambling like crazy and all dressed from head to toe with designs created just for them, we may see: Julianne Moore, Rita Ora, Coco Chanel 2.0 or Geraldine Chaplin, Lara Stone, Lily Collins, sweet sixteen Lily-Rose Deep together with her mom Vanessa Paradis, Stella Tennant, Alice Dellal and the beloved Bella Swan or Kristen Stewart. I can't help to wonder, ¿Where was Cara Delevingne? ¿Is Kristen the new replacement for Cara? and probably the one all of you had wondered ¿Where they gambling for real?, I would say they were. The last thing to mention about the looks of the celebs, is that they all had the great honor of wearing jewelry pieces designed by the real Coco Chanel in 1937 (we talked about it in a previous post).
Finally, regarding to the models it's worth to notice that there was not a single blonde model! All of them had a make-up pale skin, in contrast to the highlighted cheekbones and lips. As the finishing touch, they were all wearing a hair wig pretending to be a hat. Maybe not the look I would have chosen, but it achieved the wanted result: leaving all the prominence to the wonderful designs.
